The volunteers and Leads/LOA's are getting excited about the start of this years nesting season which starts on Friday, May 1st. SCDNR Permit training is this week, and Volunteer Applications have been submitted and the Volunteer Roster will soon be finalized.
We still have some slots for additional volunteers, if you are interested, please send your contact info - name, telephone, address and email address to witurtles@gmail.com.
After the Permit Holder and the Leads meet additional emails will be sent out. There will be a "Meet and Greet" meeting set up for Saturday, April 25th. This Meet and Greet gives a chance for our veteran Volunteers and our new volunteers a chance to meet the Leads, and to have any questions addressed.
